Here is a list of recipe links: All are gluten free and most dairy free. Those with dairy should be easily modifiable if needed.
To me food is fuel…. but it can also be a lot of fun. In my day to day life I tend to stick to whole foods and rarely use recipes. I combine meats, veggies, eggs, nuts, seeds, and spices for most of my meals. However, there are times when celebration is in order and splurging becomes a necessity. Here are a few of my favorite splurges:
Texas Keto Brownies
I had some requests for the Keto Brownie Recipe that I posted on instagram. Here is the link: http://beautyandthefoodie.com/moms-texas-brownies-grain-free/
* For the sweetener options I use one dropper full of organic stevia drops (from Trader Joes)
*For the milk option I use unsweetened almond milk
*I also recommend you recruit a partner in crime to help you like the bowl after. This is my little sister and she was a perfect fit for the job. I hope you enjoy! P.S. Don’t be afraid to add the coffee!
Double Chocolate Muffins (or Donuts)
This is technically a donut recipe but I don’t have the right pan… so I make muffins. They are great topped with glaze and coconut flakes. I use peppermint extract instead of essential oil and that seems to work well. The carb count should be pretty straightforward but don’t forget to account for the protein from the eggs. I did and it messed me up a bit. Still worth it.
